2. Hosting and server log files

This website is run by an external hosting provider. When you visit the website, the web server automatically records information that your browser sends (so-called server log files):

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • page or file requested
  • referrer URL
  • browser and operating system used

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is providing the website securely and without technical errors. The log files are deleted automatically after a short time. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

3. Contact form and contact by email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, email address, your message) solely to handle your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Data from the contact form is sent to us by email and is not stored in a database.

We delete your request as soon as it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under § 257 HGB or § 147 AO) prevent this.

4. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server. No connection is made to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts).

5. Google Analytics

With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). It helps us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it.

What is processed: Google Analytics stores cookies on your device (e.g. _ga and _ga_<ID>, with a lifetime of up to 2 years) and collects information about your use of the website, such as pages visited, time spent on them, the referring website, your approximate location (country and city), device type, browser and operating system. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We do not combine this data with other data about you.

Legal basis: We only load Google Analytics after you have given your consent in the cookie banner. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this website.

Transfer to third countries: Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Google uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data processing agreement: We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Storage period: Data stored by Google Analytics is automatically deleted after 14 months.

You can find more information in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Cookies

Apart from Google Analytics (see section 5), which is only used with your consent, this website does not set any cookies and does not use any other tracking or marketing services. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" in your browser's address bar.
